Accepting applications for our grant program — Innovation Initiatives

We’re offering grants at up to $75,000 each, to help agencies looking to implement and evaluate culturally responsive services for racialized children, young people and families.

Ontario is one of Canada’s most diverse province, and it’s becoming more diverse every day. Yet culturally responsive programs — programs adapted to meet unique aspects of a client’s culture, language or values — aren’t readily available. So, to get the ball rolling in this area, we developed an Overview of culturally adapted programs to pinpoint what it takes to build, pilot, scale and evaluate a culturally responsive program.

Now we’re calling on child and youth mental health and addictions agencies to leverage that knowledge to help make culturally responsive programs more widespread.
