We work to identify crucial knowledge and evidence gaps, informed by our sector’s most pressing priorities. Then we assemble the best possible teams and the latest, most relevant information required to fill these gaps and make recommendations for evidence-based practice. This means looking not only at academic research, but also at clinical expertise and the lived experience of young people and family members, to obtain evidence.
We’ve always understood the complex nature of the child and youth mental health and addictions system and have worked at the system level to dismantle silos, nurture partnerships and build bridges for young people and families to shape service planning and delivery. We also maintain a valuable collection of resources to continue to guide our own work, inform decision makers and help ensure high-quality mental health and addictions services and tools.
