We are pleased to share that Melissa Jennings has been selected as our new director of special projects and operations. Her strong and thoughtful leadership over more than eight years as a manager — and over the last few months in the director role in an interim capacity — has been incredibly valuable to the Centre.
“Melissa’s steadfast support and leadership through many changes over the years (and particularly through this pandemic) have enabled our team to build on our strengths and to weather many challenges. We have all benefited,” says Executive Director Purnima Sundar. “Melissa’s previous experience leading our evaluation support program, knowledge broker team and key internal planning and performance-related activities make her the ideal candidate to oversee our operations.”
Melissa holds a master’s degree in child studies and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Prior to joining the Centre, she was involved in many different program evaluation and community-based research initiatives for women, children and seniors.
